Customize Your Adventure!
Creating your own personalized adventure vacation for you and your friends, family or colleagues is simple and easy with the assistance of our dedicated team of adventure professionals. Since no two boaters are alike we are happy to customize your group experience so it is exciting for some and mild for others on the very same trip!
We can also help you facilitate you own private trip for workshops, symposiums, reunions, employee team building. River Country offers large group discounts, as well as discounts for physically disabled groups, seniors, youth organizations, scouts and school groups.
When to go: We run the Klamath and it's tributaries from March through October. Spring time flows can be from 10-15,000 cfs...definately a "PADDLE FORWARD!!" kind of ride. In the Summer as the river drops, the rapids become more technical requiring precise maneuvering but there is more time to relax, float in your life jacket between rapids and enjoy the scenery. The river is absolutely beautiful in Autumn, with fall colors you wouldn’t believe; we’d have the river to ourselves!
All of our guides are trained in whitewater safety, CPR and first aid. The gear we use is the most current and up-to-date to ensure a safe, and of course, fun adventure. We run oar boats, paddle boats, and have inflatable kayaks for the more adventurous.
