Our Company

Joe and Becca Cote' Giera

For over 25 years, we have been providing fabulous outdoor adventures to a wide range of clients on the majestic Wild and Scenic Klamath River and it's tributaries.  From 4 years old to 92 years young, we offer all levels of white water rafting trips from hair raising to absolute solitude.  We live and operate locally and know which sections of the river will give you the experience that is right for you and your group; even where it can be exciting for some and mild for others on the same trip.
Service is professional, excellent and personal.  As your guides to the Klamath River and Klamath Mountains, you will have a very safe and very memorable experience.  It is our goal to make your vacation something you will remember with a smile for many years to come.
Please visit our Trips page for more details on the various trips we offer, which can be customized for your group needs, time restraints, desires and experience levels.
We specialize in private party raft trips, allowing us to customize each trip according to your specific group; from mellow floats through the scenic, less crowded sections of the river, to the premier class III+ whitewater run. We really want your river trip to be a special and unique experience for you, your friends or family.

We also offer horse assisted back country trips into the Marble and Siskiyou Wilderness areas. These are highly recommended as you will be able to get into exquisite remote areas of the wilderness without having to carry 35-60lbs. of gear on your back.  For more information please visit our Backpacking page.

The Yoga trips we offer are for all levels of yoga and whitewater/hiking experience.  You can find more info and dates at the bottom of the Trips page.

The Klamath is well known for its salmon and steelhead fishing, during some seasons you can watch them roll or jump right next to the boat. One of North America’s most diverse ecosystems, the Klamath will offer you a chance to see bears, bald eagles, osprey, blue and green herons, mergansers, wood ducks, wild geese, river otters, mink, the shy fisher, turtles and maybe the ever elusive bigfoot.

We run the Klamath from March through October.

“Safety first, safety last and everything else fits in between!”

River Country offers large group discounts, as well as discounts for physically disabled groups, seniors, youth organizations, scouts and school groups.
